A physical book tour vs. a virtual book tour—

Unless you’re a big-name author who can bring in a big crowd and sell an impressive number of books, it’s difficult to set up a tour with bookstores.  You must figure in time and money for travel, food and perhaps lodging as well.  With a VBT you can “tour” from the comfort of your own home and the only cost involved is a onetime fee for your tour setup. 

Tour once and promote your book for months, even years, to come.  With a physical book tour, once you’ve gone to the engagements it’s over and done with.  When you do a VBT your tour reviews, interviews, and posts stay online for the life of the website. 

Unlike a physical book tour where you only interact with a tiny portion of the public, with a VBT you can reach new fans all over the world and sell more books.

Where you'll be featured--

As an author on a VBT with us you will have the potential to reach thousands upon thousands of new fans who may buy your book via book blogs, websites, internet radio shows, article syndication and more.  You will be featured on no less than 7 specially selected blogs/sites during the course of your tour as well as on our home page with a book cover, book blurb, tour stops, and links. 

How we choose blogs and websites—

Before we schedule you for any site we first check their Google page rank, the layout, activity, and if it’s a good fit for your book.  We wouldn’t send a sci-fi author to a romance review site, to a dead site that is updated only rarely, nor would we send you to a site without a solid Google page rank. 

We also have a positive relationship with all of our VBT hosts so we’ll know they’ll go the extra mile for you.

VBT Information—

Your VBT may take up to 8 weeks to schedule due to popular demand.  Your tour will include a minimum of 7 tour stops which may include blogs, websites, internet radio, and article directories.  You agree to ship copies of your book to the hosts upon request. 

All of our authors on tour will be featured on the home page of Author Autobahn for a full month.  Each tour stop, your book cover, summary, links to your website, blog, and book sales page will also be included.
